I know how you feel… I felt this for so so long and it hurt so deeply to experience this again and again and again.
It got to the point where I had had enough and I made the choice to go within and explore what was going on, what was creating this and how could I shift this and have a new experience.
How could I feel more supported in my relationship, in myself and in life.
What a profound journey it has been. I noticed just how much this inner work had shifted my relationship in my life when I birthed my baby a little over 4 weeks ago.
The experience was DRASTICALLY different from my first birth where I felt so alone, isolated and unsupported.
This time around I knew what I needed, I knew how to ask for it and I had done the inner work that allowed my to have a whole new experience.
One where I felt so deeply supported, not only by my partner but my entire birth team, myself and life itself.
What I have realised is that my partner and many others are MORE than willing to show up for those they love, in fact they truly DESIRE to show up for them.
But what blocks people from giving, receiving and asking for that support is very very deep.
