Mothers Day Insight & Message

3.5 years ago I birthed my beautiful baby boy, the birth did not go to “plan” to say the least… the experience was deeply traumatising and I felt like a failure as a mama, I was heartbroken.

Today I lay in bed with my two babies, my son and my baby girl, celebrating motherhood.

The birth of my baby girl was deeply healing and supported me to release the heaviness from my first birth, integrate the trauma I experienced and come into deep acceptance and surrender.

Today, I celebrate myself and all the mothers out there. You deserve to be celebrated and acknowledged. Not just today but everyday.

This is something you MUST do for yourself, it’s not something you wait for someone else to do for you.

Celebrate yourself beautiful mama. Acknowledge yourself and all that you do, all that you hold, all that you bring, all that you are.

You are absolutely incredible.

Too often we can put ourselves down and buy into stories that say we are not enough, we are not doing enough, we have failed…

But you are more than enough, you are magnificent.

Being a mother is a huge responsibility. We go through a tremendous transformation through the birth process. We bring our babies into the world, we nurture them, we do our best each and everyday. Even those days we feel we didn’t do good enough.

Can you acknowledge and celebrate yourself for what you DID do, for how much you show up every single day for you and your family.

As I birthed my daughter I felt like superwoman. Absolutely amazed at what I had just experienced.

Birth is magic.
Motherhood is magic.
It hasn’t been easy.
But it has always been divine.

On this journey of motherhood I continue to learn and grow. I continue to show up and see the challenging days as a contraction in the journey of motherhood just like a contraction in birth, it’s temporary, we can breathe through it and reset.

I feel so blessed to have these amazing humans in my life for the journey of a lifetime ❤️

Your baby is blessed to have you as their mum just as you are blessed to have them as your child.

Happy Mother’s Day 💐
